Vacuum Pump, Removing And Installing, Vehicle With 4.0L TFSI Engine: Removing
-- Audi S8: remove the left air filter housing. Refer to appropriate Multiport Fuel Injection article, Air Filter; Air Filter Housing, Removing and Installing .
-- Loosen the hose clamp -2-, remove the vent hose and push to the side.
-- Release the retainer -arrow B- and disconnect the vacuum line -2- without damaging it.
-- Remove the vacuum hose -3- without damaging it.
-- Remove the bolts -A arrows- and the vacuum pump -1-.
