Coolant Expansion Tank For Engine Coolant Circuit, Removing And Installing: Removing

CAUTION:

A partial coolant replacement in the engine coolant circuit is not possible on vehicles with a high-voltage system.

For repairs and partial replacement on the engine coolant circuit the entire coolant must be drained and refilled.

-- Release and disconnect the connector -4- for the Engine Coolant Level Sensor -G32-.

-- Raise the clamp from the breather line -2- and remove the breather line -2- from the coolant expansion tank.

-- Remove the bolt -3- and remove the coolant expansion tank upward and place it on the side.

-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip Tray:VAS 6208 underneath.

-- Clamp off the coolant hose -1- with Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm:3094 , raise the clamp and remove the coolant hose from the coolant expansion tank.

-- Remove the coolant expansion tank.
