Right Engine Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing
- Install all the cable ties back in their original locations.
-- Support the engine in the installation position (refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLATION POSITION ) and pretension it with the Engine Support Set - Spindle:10-222B/11 until the pressure on the engine mount is released.
-- Remove the front wheel. Refer to WHEELS AND TIRES .
-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
-- Remove the front wheel spoiler, and loosen the front of the wheel housing liner and press it to the side. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
-- Free up the wiring duct -4- on the right coolant pipe and on the subframe.
-- Remove the nut -2- and bolt -3- and press the right coolant pipe back slightly on the subframe.
-- Remove the ribbed belt from the starter generator. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the starter generator. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH 3.0L TFSI ENGINE .
-- Remove the nut -arrow- and free up the ground wire.
-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- for the electrohydraulic engine mount solenoid valves.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and engine mount -1-.
