Vibration Damper, Removing And Installing, 3.0L Engine: Removing

Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the A/C compressor ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT FOR A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 3.0L ENGINE .

-- Remove the ribbed belt tensioner for the A/C compressor. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER FOR A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 3.0L ENGINE .

-- Remove the cover.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and the idler roller.

-- Place the Adapter :T40330/4  with Counterholder:T40330/1  on the vibration damper and secure using the bolt -arrow- (23 Nm) to do so place the Spacer Sleeve :T40330/3  underneath.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and remove the counterholder and vibration damper.
