A/C Compressor Ribbed Belt, Removing And Installing, 2.9L Engine With Radiator Installed: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to appropriate service information .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and press the coolant pipe -1- to the rear on the lock carrier.

-- Position the Driveshaft Handle:3145  as shown on the ribbed belt and on the oil pan flange.

-- Pivot the counterholder counter-clockwise only until the tensioner -1- can be locked using the Locking Pin:T10060A  .

TIP:

Insert the Locking Pin:T10060A  with needle nose pliers (long version).

-- Remove the ribbed belt.
