A/C Compressor Ribbed Belt, Removing And Installing, 2.9L Engine With Radiator Installed: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps that match the ones used in series production. Refer to the Parts Information.

-- Position the ribbed belt. Refer to OVERVIEW - CYLINDER BLOCK, BELT PULLEY SIDE .

-- Position the Driveshaft Handle:3145  on the ribbed belt, pivot counter-clockwise and remove the Locking Pin:T10060A  .

-- Remove the counterholder.

-- Check if the ribbed belt is correctly positioned.

-- Start the engine and check the ribbed belt routing.

-- Check the coolant level. Refer to Fig 1.
