Luggage Compartment Cover Drive Unit, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
-- Clip both catches -2- for the luggage compartment cover into the rails and secure with an expander pin -1-.
-- Perform a function test after installing.
Conditions
- Both of the carriers must be parallel to each other at the top and bottom of the stop in the D-pillar trim panel guide.
- If the catches are not parallel, check the routing of the release cable and/or adjust the release cables.
Adjusting the release cables for the drive unit
-- Adjust the release cable at the release cable adjuster -1-.
-- Turn the release cable adjuster in the direction of -arrow A- or -arrow B-.
-- Adjust the release cable so that both of the luggage compartment cover catches are parallel to each other.
