Water Drain Hoses, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Position the front seat backrests all the way toward the rear.

-- Remove the headliner and place on the seats. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

A6 Front and A7 Sportback:

-- Remove the coupling piece -3- from the mount -4-.

-- Turn the mount clockwise in direction of -arrow A- and remove in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Free up the water drain hose -1- at the clips -2- and the combination brackets.

A6 Avant Rear:

-- Remove the coupling piece -2- from the mount -1-.

-- Turn the mount counter-clockwise in direction of -arrow A- and remove in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Free up the water drain hose -3- from the clips -4-.

Continuation:

-- Remove the rear wheel housing liner from the corresponding side. Refer to OVERVIEW - REAR WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Disengage the grommet -arrow- from the rear wheel housing.

-- Remove the water drain hose.
