Closure Cap, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
-- Coat the seals -3- with some engine oil.
-- Insert the cap in the fuel filler neck, press the cap spring -1- down, and press the cap into the fuel filler neck as far as the stop in direction of -arrow-.
-- When installed correctly, the pins on the closure cap will engage in the fuel filler neck.
- The pins -2- must lie in the grooves on the cap.
