Rear Center Console Trim, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the front seats all the way to the rear and then into their lowest position. Then position the backrest all the way toward the rear.

-- Remove the center console side trim panel. Refer to Center Console Side Trim Panel, Removing and Installing .

-- Move the front seats to the middle position and move the backrest into the upright position.

-- Remove the upper rear trim. Refer to UPPER REAR CENTER CONSOLE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Release the upper catch by inserting the scraper from the Scraper Set:VAS 6845 between the trim and center console -arrow A- and leave it inserted.

-- Release the lower catch, to do so pull the trim -1- by hand slightly outward -arrow B-, until the catch audibly disengages.

-- At the same time pull the trim -1- rearward out of the catches -arrow C-.

-- Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.

-- Remove the trim -1- with the control and the socket toward the rear from the center console.

-- Disconnect the connectors.
