- The mounting threads and contact surface must be free of paint, coating and corrosion. The threaded connection serves as the ground connection.

- Riveted with the windshield frame
- Check the spacer for the adjuster for ease of movement
- Quantity: 2
- Rotate the spacer all the way downward, maximum 0.5 Nm

- Check the lifter nut for ease of movement
- Turn the nut all the way downward until the lifter engages in the transportation safeguard
