Rear Outer Seat Belt Guide, Removing And Installing, A6 Sedan: Removing

-- Move the front seats all the way forward.

Vehicles with rigid backrest or individual seat backrest

-- Remove the rear seat backrests. Refer to .

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Version 1: press the seat belt guide trim -1- out of the retainers -2- and -3- using the Trim Removal Wedge:3409 and remove the trim.

-- Version 2: unclip the trim -1- for the seat belt guide from the catch -arrow A- and disengage from the C-pillar trim panel -arrow B-.

-- Remove the D-pillar trim panel. Refer to D-Pillar Trim Panel, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the C-pillar trim panel. Refer to C-Pillar Trim Panel, Removing and Installing .

A6 China

-- If installed, unclip and then disengage the cover -2- from the seat belt guide -1- -arrow-.

Continuation for all vehicles

-- If necessary: push the rear shelf noise insulation in the area of the seat belt guide to the side.

-- Remove the belt from the seat belt guide -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.

-- Disengage the seat belt guide -1- from the mount and remove.

-- If equipped, on the right side of the vehicle: disconnect the connector for the parking aid warning buzzer.
