Driver/Front Passenger Thorax Airbag Crash Sensor G179/G180, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Door Trim Panel, Removing and Installing .
CAUTION:
Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.
Risk of injury.
- Discharge the static electricity: quickly touch the door striker.
-- Disconnect the connector -1- by pulling out the connector lock and pressing it down.
-- Release the catch -2- and crash sensor -3- approximately 45° counter-clockwise -arrows-.
-- Disengage the thorax airbag crash sensor from the door and remove.
