Headlamp Washer System Washer Nozzle, Removing And Installing: Removing

A6, Vehicles Without High-Voltage System (0K0/0K4)

-- Remove the wheel housing liner and front wheel spoiler. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Remove the bolt -3-.

-- Disengage the bumper cover side piece -4- from the front side panel -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Push the connecting brace -1- slightly downward.

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front wheel spoiler. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Remove the connecting brace. Refer to IMPACT GUARD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

RS 6 Avant, RS 7 Sportback left side of the vehicle

-- Remove the charge air cooler. Refer to CHARGE AIR COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

RS 6 Avant, RS 7 Sportback right side of the vehicle

-- Remove the parking/auxiliary heater exhaust pipe. Refer to appropriate Service Information .

-- Remove the right front wheel spoiler and loosen the right front wheel housing liners in the front area. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Disconnect the coolant hose -1- with Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm:3094  .

-- Place a cleaning cloth underneath the coupling rod to catch any fluid still leaking out.

-- Release and disconnect the washer fluid hose -5-.

-- Pull the washer nozzle -4- back out of the retainers -1- and -2- in the bracket -3- -arrow-.

-- Remove the washer nozzle.
