-- Remove the interior door mechanism. Refer to INTERIOR DOOR MECHANISM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connector -1-.
-- Remove the lamp -2- from the mount -3-.
-- Release the retainers -arrows-.
-- Remove the cap -6-.
-- Remove the circuit board -1-.
-- Release the catches -3- and -5-.
-- Remove the housing -2- from the fiber-optic cable -4-.
