Led Module 1, Removing And Installing: Removing

Conditions
- Working with the ESD Work Surface :VAS 6613 . Refer to Repair Information .
- To protect against electrostatic discharge, the ESD Work Surface :VAS 6613 is designed to provide sufficient grounding.
-- Remove the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Housing, Removing and Installing .
CAUTION:
There is a risk of damaging the wires when cutting the headlamp housing.
- Cut the opening in the headlamp housing as flat as possible.
CAUTION:
There is a risk of injury from the knife and plastic particles in the air.
Eye irritation or injury could occur.
- Wear protective eyewear.
- Wear safety gloves.
-- Cut the blind cover -2- out of the headlamp housing -1- with a sharp carpet knife.
-- Remove any shavings and grit on the blind cover from the headlamp housing.
-- Place the headlamp on the ESD work surface.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Remove the LED module -4-.
-- Free up the wiring harness bracket -2-.
-- Release the fuse -1-.
-- Disconnect the connector -3-.
