Headrest, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the front seat forward into the lowest position and tilt backrests approximately 45°.

-- Move the headrest all the way up.

-- Press the release button -4- on the left headrest guide -arrow A- and at the same time press together the collar -1- on the release ring -3- -arrow B-.

-- Hold the release ring pressed and remove the headrest -2- upward from the catch.

If the headrest does not release, proceed as follows:

-- Unclip the left collar -1- using the spatula -arrow- and slide it upward.

-- Position the spatula on the release ring -2- on the left headrest guide.

-- Press the release button -3- forward by hand or using a flat-head screwdriver -arrow A- while pressing the release ring down with the spatula -arrow B-.

-- Press and hold the release ring with the spatula and remove the headrest -1- upward from the retainer.

TIP:

The headrest can only be removed with difficulty.
