Spoiler, Removing And Installing, S6 Sedan: Installing

- The vehicle and the spoiler must be at room temperature.
- The adhesive surfaces must be free of dirt and grease.
-- Remove the adhesive residue from the body.
-- Clean the spoiler contact surface on the rear lid using the Cleaning Solution:D 009 401 04 .
-- If equipped: cut off the retaining tabs -1- so they are level with the surface -arrow-.
- The tabs must not project up above the surface.
-- Position the spoiler -1- on the rear lid with help from a second technician and even it out at the sides.
- The bottom side of the spoiler must be flush with the edge on the rear lid -arrow-.
- The spoiler must be centered on the rear lid: dimension -x- = equal distance to the left and right.
-- Remove the protective film from the inside outward using the removal aid -2-.
-- Using the Roller:T40400 , press the entire length of the spoiler onto the inside (direction of travel in the front), working from the inside outward.
- Resting time approximately 30 minutes at room temperature
- It is durable after at least 24 hours.
