Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface J533, Removing And Installing: Removing

If the Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface - J533- is replaced, perform the test plan for replacing the control modules:

-- Perform the "control module, replacing" function using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

Continuation

-- Remove the bench seat. Refer to REAR BENCH SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fold the insulation mat to the side over the data bus on board diagnostic interface. Separate it at the perforations if necessary.

Vehicles without protective cover

-- Remove the nuts -arrows-.

-- Remove the Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- -4-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1-, -2- and -3-.

Continuation for all vehicles

Vehicles with protective cover

-- Remove the nuts -arrow- through the opening in the protective cover.

-- Remove the Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- -6- from the protective cover.

-- Disconnect the connectors -3-, -4-, -5-.

-- Remove the protective cover from the threaded pins.
