Rear Axle

Lower and Upper Transverse Link:

-- Check the relative movement between the wheel bearing housing and both transverse links.

-- Check all the bonded rubber bushings -arrows- on the lower transverse link for play.

-- Check all the bonded rubber bushings from the upper transverse link -3- for play.

Tie Rod:

-- Check the play on the tie rod -4- bonded rubber bushings.

Coupling Rod and Stabilizer Bar:

-- Check the coupling rod -4- for play.

-- Check the stabilizer bar bearing -1- for damage.

Drive Axle:

Only applies to vehicles with AWD.

-- Check all around the ball joint boots -1- on the drive axle for damage and proper seating.

-- Repeat the component checks on the opposite side of the vehicle.

-- If a defect was found when inspecting the specified components, replace the respective component.
