Air Quality Package Cartridges, Replacing

The air quality package canisters are located behind the driver side instrument panel cover.

Removal Procedures: 

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to DRIVER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Procedure  :

-- Turn the fragrance canister counter-clockwise and remove. For this, grasp the canister at the ring with the locking tab and turn.

-- Insert new canisters: when inserting, the tab -arrow- must face the front of the vehicle. Screw in the canister clockwise.

-- Install the instrument panel cover according to the description in the repair information.

If the fragrance canister is replaced, the basic setting of the Fragrance Diffuser System Actuator -V687- must be performed.

Procedure 

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .

-- Select the Diagnostic  mode and start the diagnosis.

-- Select the Test plan  tab.

-- Select the Select individual check  button and then select the following tree structure one after the other:

• Diagnostic-capable systems
• 0009 - Electronic Central Electric - J519
• 0009- Electronic Central Electric, Functions
• 0009 - Basic setting for A/C functions
• → basic setting 6, program the end stops of the Fragrance Diffuser System Actuator -V687-
