-- Remove the hook release lever. Refer to HOOK RELEASE LEVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the expanding rivets -arrows- with the pliers.
-- Remove the lock carrier cover -2- from the groove in the air filter housing -1-.
-- Remove the lock carrier cover.
