Fragrance System Functional Unit -GX43-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the footwell cover on the driver side. Refer to OVERVIEW - INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, DRIVER SIDE .

-- Push the locking mechanism -8- in direction of -arrow A- and remove the hose -7- at the same time.

-- Remove the connector -6-.

CAUTION:

Risk of fragrance leaking when tilting the.

- If there is a fault in the Air Freshening System Control Module -J1101-, the Fragrance System Functional Unit -GX43- or the Fragrance Diffuser System Actuator -V687-, the fragrance container valves may be open.

- If fragrance system components are faulty, then both containers with fragrance must be removed before removing the bracket.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Push the bracket -4- in the direction of -arrow B- until the pins -5- are free and then remove.

-- Remove the hose -3- from the Fragrance System Functional Unit -GX43- -1-.
