Vacuum Pump, Removing And Installing, 2.0L TFSI Engine: Removing

-- Remove the high pressure pump. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and bolts -2- and remove the heat shield (example illustration).

Do not damage the vacuum hose.

A damaged vacuum hose must be replaced.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -1- and remove the vacuum hose.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Pull the vacuum pump out of the mount and remove.
