Brake Pad Wear Indicator Wire, Removing And Installing: Installing

- Check the brake pad wear indicator contact for damage and replace if necessary.
- Make sure that the brake pad wear indicator contact fits correctly in the brake pad.
- If the clips go missing, the brake pad wear indicator wire must be replaced.
-- Insert the contact -3- for the brake pad wear indicator with the clip -4- until it engages in the inner brake pad.
-- Secure the brake pad wear indicator wire with the protective cap -2- and the clips -1 and 5-. (shown on ceramic brakes)
-- Bring the connector -1- into its installation position and turn in the direction of -arrow- until the tab -3- engages in the hole -4- on the bracket.
-- Connect the connector -2-.
