The mobile online services are based on the eCall/bCall/eMob and the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949-.
The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- is safeguarded against a crash by being installed in the luggage compartment. The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- contains an emergency call module and a compass module. A separate SIM card is installed for the emergency call function.
