Knock Sensor 1 -G61-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

• During installation, all cable ties and heat shields must be installed at the same location.
• The knock sensor wire must always be attached at the same location when installing.

-- Remove the turbocharger. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If necessary, remove the nuts -arrows- and move the bracket to the side.

-- Remove, disconnect and free up the respective connector from the bracket.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and push the coolant line to the side.
