Adapting The Adaptation Values After Replacing Components

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Vehicle Diagnostic Tester

An adaptation of the adaptation values is required after the following procedures:

• The engine was replaced.
• The sensor wheel for the Engine Speed Sensor -G28- was replaced.
• The components of the chain drive were removed and installed or replaced.
• The cylinder head was removed and installed or replaced.
• The camshafts were removed and installed or replaced.
• The Throttle Valve Control Module -GX3- were replaced.
• The Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493- has been replaced.
• The Radiator Shutter Motor -V544- /Radiator Shutter Adjustment Motor 2 -V550- were replaced.
• The particulate filter was replaced.
