Flywheel, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

CAUTION:

Risk of destroying the engine with the friction disc not being installed.

- Check the installation of the friction disc (diamond disc) between the flywheel, sensor wheel and the camshaft stub.

CAUTION:

Do not place the sensor wheel near magnets (for example lamp base, speakers).

There is a risk of destroying the sensor wheel by magnetic force.

- Before installing the drive plate/flywheel or sensor wheel, check the function of the sensor wheel.

-- Check the sensor wheel from the engine speed sensor. Refer to SENSOR WHEEL, CHECKING .

-- After removing or replacing the sensor wheel, perform the adaptation using the => Vehicle Diagnostic Tester , 0001 - Engine electronics, functions  , J623 - Engine electronics, functions 

TIP:

The assembly of the flywheel, friction disk (diamond discs), and sensor wheel is only possible in one position.

-- Place the Flywheel Retainer :3067  into the hole on the cylinder block -item A-.
