Engine Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the right front wheel. Refer to WHEELS AND TIRES .
-- Loosen the right front section of the wheel housing liner from the longitudinal member. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
-- Remove the bolt -2- and nut -3- and move the right coolant pipe to the side (example illustration below).
-- Free up the fuel hose and the EVAP system hose from the coolant expansion tank at -item 2-.
-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the Engine Coolant Level Warning Switch -F66-.
-- Release the retainers with a screwdriver -arrow- and move the coolant expansion tank to the side (example illustration above).
-- Unclip the left and right sealing piece -1- using the Pry Lever :80 - 200 .
-- Loosen the hose clamps -2 and 3- and remove the air duct hose.
-- Position the Engine Support Bridge :10-222A as shown.
-- Attach the spindle carabiner hooks to the engine lifting eyes.
-- Pretension the engine/transmission assembly with both spindles, but do not lift it.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and engine mount -1-.
TIP:
The rear bolt in the cylinder block is accessible from the wheel housing side. To do so, loosen the wheel housing liner area and push it aside. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
