Catalytic Converter, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Replace the seal after removal.

-- Install the subframe. Refer to SUBFRAME, LOWERING .

-- Attach the drive axle to the bevel box. Refer to appropriate Service Information .

-- Mount the catalytic converter on the turbocharger and install the screw-type clamp loosely.

-- Tighten the threaded connections. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the exhaust system without tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .

-- Install the Oxygen Sensor 1 After Catalytic Converter -GX7-. Refer to HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
