Overview - Charge Air System, Engine In Performance Class 2
- Before testing or performing a repair, check all air guide pipes and hoses and all vacuum lines for leaks.
- Left Air Duct Pipe
- Removing and Installing. Refer to LEFT AIR DUCT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Must be free of oil and grease before installing
- Grommet
- Spacer Sleeve

- 7 Nm
- Air Duct Hose
- Installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - CHARGE AIR HOSE CONNECTIONS .
- Air Duct
- Charge Air Cooler
- Removing and Installing. Refer to CHARGE AIR COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- If there are small impressions on the fins. Refer to RADIATOR AND CONDENSER ASSEMBLY .
- Air Duct
- Radiator Mount
- For the charge air cooler
Repair solution:
- Thread grooving bolt
- Position the bolt by hand and tighten it until it finds the old threads. Then tighten the bolt to the specification.
- 5.5 Nm
- For the charge air cooler
- Radiator Mount
- For the charge air cooler
- Bolt
- 7 Nm
- Spacer Sleeve
- Grommet
- Bolt
- 5 Nm
- Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31-
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- O-Ring
- Replace if damaged or leaking
- Air Duct Hose
- Installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - CHARGE AIR HOSE CONNECTIONS .
- Front Air Duct Pipe
- Removing and Installing. Refer to FRONT AIR DUCT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, ENGINE IN PERFORMANCE CLASS 2 .
- Must be free of oil and grease before installing
