Bolt
- Always replace after removing
- Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER .
Mounting Strap
Heat Shield
- For the fuel tank
Bolt
- Always replace after removing
- 20 Nm +90°
Fuel Supply Line
- To the engine
- Clipped to the fuel tank
- Do not kink
- Connector Couplings, Disconnecting and Connecting. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
Bleeder Line
- To the Activated Charcoal Filter Air Flushing Pressure Sensor -GX44- / EVAP Canister
- Clipped to the fuel tank
- Do not kink
- Connector Couplings, Disconnecting and Connecting. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
Fuel Tank
- Allocation. Refer to the => Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
- Removing and installing. Refer to FUEL TANK, REMOVING, TFSI VEHICLES WITH FWD, WITHOUT HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM .
Bolt
- Quantity: 2
- Always replace after removing
- 8 Nm +90°
Ground Connection
- For the fuel filler neck
- For discharging electrostatic charge. Refer to OVERVIEW - FUEL TANK, TFSI VEHICLES WITH FWD AND MULTI-LINK SUSPENSION .
Cap
- Turn until it clicks into place.
- Attached to the fuel filler door unit with fastener
Bleeder Line
- To the EVAP Canister
- Clipped to the fuel tank
- Do not kink
- Connector Couplings, Disconnecting and Connecting. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
Nut
- For the heat shield
- Quantity: 4
- 2 Nm
Bolt
- Always replace after removing
- 20 Nm +90°
Bolt
- Always replace after removing
- 20 Nm +90°

Ground Connection Routing

-- Route the ground connections as shown.

-- Make sure the following connectors are secure:

The connector -3- must be firmly secured on the fuel filler neck metal ring -2-.
The ground connection contact -4- must be engaged in the hole on the fuel tank -1- and secured with a spacer -5-.
