Spoiler, Removing And Installing, Sedan: Installing

- The vehicle and the spoiler must be at room temperature.
- The adhesive surfaces must be free of dirt and grease.
-- Remove the adhesive residue from the body.
-- Clean the contact surface for the spoiler on the rear lid using Cleaning Solution.
-- If equipped: cut off the retaining tabs -2- so they are level with the surface -arrow-.
- Tab overhang -1- a maximum of -a- = 0.5 mm.
-- Position the spoiler -2- on the rear lid with help from a second technician and even it out at the sides.
- The bottom side of the spoiler must be flush with the edge on the rear lid -arrow-.
- The spoiler must be centered on the rear lid: dimension -x- = equal distance to the left and right.
-- Remove the protective film using the removal aids -1 and 4-.
-- Remove the protective film sideways using the removal aids -3 and 5-.
-- Using the Roller:T40400 , press the entire length of the spoiler onto the inside (direction of travel in the front), working from the inside outward.
- Resting time approximately 30 minutes at room temperature
- It is durable after at least 24 hours.
