Overview - Dual-Piston Brakes

- Brake Caliper
- Allocation. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
- Do not disconnect the brake hose when replacing a brake pad
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SINGLE AND DUAL-PISTON BRAKES
- Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REPLACING, SINGLE AND DUAL-PISTON BRAKES
- Servicing. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER PISTON, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, DUAL-PISTON BRAKE .
- Bleed Screw
- 11 Nm
- Protective Cap
- Bolt
- Self-locking
- Replace after removing
- 35 Nm
- Brake Pads
- Allocation. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
- Checking the brake pads, wear limit. Refer to BRAKE PADS, CHECKING THICKNESS .
- Always replace on both sides of the axle.
- Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SINGLE-PISTON BRAKE EXCLUDING 1ZD, DUAL-PISTON BRAKES
- Inner right brake pad with brake pad wear sensor
- Brake Pad Retaining Plate
- Guide Pin
- Check ease of movement
- Dust Protector
- Replace if damaged
- Wheel Bearing Housing
- Bolt
- 200 Nm
- Bracket
- For the brake line/hose
- Brake Line
- 14 Nm

- Replace if damaged
- Brake Hose
- Make sure the brake hose is routed correctly. Make sure the brake hose is not pinched, bent, twisted or rubbing against the vehicle
- Replace if damaged
- Make sure that tabs are properly seated in the grooves on the bracket.
- Bracket
- For brake hose and wire

- Banjo Bolt
- Permanent with seals
- Clean any corrosion from the sealing surface on the brake caliper
- If damaged, replace the brake hose
- 35 Nm
- Brake Shield
- Brake Rotor
- Allocation. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
- Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, CHECKING
- Wear limit specified on the brake rotor
- Always replace on both sides of the axle. Replace the brake pads as well.
- Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
