Mounting Bracket, Removing And Installing, LHD Vehicle: Removing

-- Remove the crash bolster. Refer to CRASH BOLSTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the brake pedal from the brake booster. Refer to BRAKE PEDAL, DISCONNECTING FROM BRAKE BOOSTER .
-- Remove the buttons -arrows-.
-- Free up the carpet in the area of the universal joint and push it slightly rearward.
-- Remove the bolt -1- and remove the universal joint -2- from the steering gear -arrow-.
-- Release the Headlamp Range Control Module -J431- -A arrows- and remove it upward from the bracket -1- -arrow B-
-- Disconnect the connector -2- on the control module
-- Disconnect the connector -2- on the accelerator pedal module -3- and free up the wire.

-- Remove the nuts -1 and 4- and then remove the mounting bracket.
