Condensation Water Drain Hose, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Push the carpet in the area of the threaded connection to the side and remove the nut -2-.

-- Remove the bracket -1- for the center console.

-- Disconnect the connector from the Airbag Control Module -J234- -4-. Refer to Airbag Control Module -J234-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the airbag control module. If moisture enters the connectors, they will corrode.

- After disconnecting, cover or seal the control module connectors to prevent moisture from entering.

-- Cover the Airbag Control Module -J234- and connector -4- with a waterproof foil.

-- Carefully push the carpet to the side and cover it in the area under the condensation water drain hose with waterproof foil and absorbent paper.

-- If equipped, remove the cable ties for securing the condensation water drain hose -3- to the heater and A/C unit -1-.

-- Remove the condensation water drain hose -3- from the heater and A/C unit -1- and the body -5-.
