Charging Socket, Checking For Contamination And Damage

The charging socket is located at the left front side of the vehicle.
Requirements:
- Ignition switched off.
Procedure:
-- Open the charging unit cover.
-- Remove the charging socket cap.
-- Check the locking ring for presence.
-- Check the charging socket for:
- Debris/traces of powder
- Damage/deformation
- Secure fit on the body
-- Clean the charging socket if necessary.
-- Replace any damaged components.
