Starter, Removing And Installing, 1.0L/1.5L TFSI (0K4), 2.0L TDI, 0K0, Dual Clutch Transmission: Removing

-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery when the ignition is switched off. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
-- TFSI: remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- TDI: remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connector -6- by sliding the retainer back and pressing the release down.
-- Release the locking tab -arrow- and dismount the cap -7-.
-- Remove the nut -2- and remove the terminal 30/B+ wire -1- from the starter.
-- Remove the bolts -3 and 5-, then remove the starter -4- upwards.
