Battery -A-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT (0K0): Removing

-- Switch off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Place the ignition key outside of the vehicle.

-- Lift the luggage compartment floor cover.

-- Remove the support -1- and storage compartment -2-.

-- Loosen the nut -1- several turns and detach the battery ground cable terminal clamp -2- from the battery terminal, in order to do this, lift the cover -3- a bit.

-- Open the cover -2- over the battery positive terminal.

-- Loosen the nut -3- several turns.

-- Slightly push down the main fuse panel -1-, this will release the retainer -5-.

-- Afterwards pivot the main fuse panel to the side until the guide -6- is free.

-- Remove the battery ground cable terminal clamp -4- of the positive wire from the battery terminal.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the retaining bracket -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the battery bracket -1 and 5-.

-- Remove the battery cover -3-.

-- Disconnect the central venting system hose -4-.

-- Lift the battery -2- up and out of the luggage compartment.
