Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Q3 Backrest With Pass-Through: Removing

-- Move the front seats all the way forward.

-- Position the rear seat all the way toward the rear.

-- Equipped on some models: remove the rear center armrest. Refer to CENTER ARMREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fold the pass-through slightly forward.

-- Remove the center backrest headrest guides. Refer to HEADREST GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the locking mechanism trim. Refer to LOCKING MECHANISM TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fold the pass-through forward.

-- Open the backrest cover on the clamping strips -1- by removing the cover -2- with the flat profile upward in direction of -arrow- out of the U-profile on the pass-through -3-.

-- Unclip the side cover -1- at the bottom of the pass-through using the Pry Lever:80-200  in direction of -arrow-.

-- Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry out the clamping strips -1, 2, 3 and 4- for the cover from the backrest frame starting at the corners -arrows- and remove.

-- Remove the clamping strips -1 and 4- for the cover from the rear seat backrest locking mechanism -2-.

-- Fold the pass-through back.

-- Equipped on models with center armrest: remove the cover from the backrest frame forward and remove the center cushion.

-- Remove the cover from the backrest frame and remove the cushion.
