Component Location Overview - Seat Occupant Detection System

- Seat position sensor/control module/seat belt switch
- Available only with COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - SEAT OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM => List Item:Seat Position Sensor
- Clip into the seat pan
- Black connector, connector station in the vehicle floor under the seat
- Refer to SEAT POSITION SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Wiring Harness
- For the seat heating element with seat occupant detection system
- Available only with COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - SEAT OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM => List Item:Right Front Seat Heating Element -Z46-
- Clip into the seat pan
- Connector station in the vehicle floor under the seat.
- Refer to SEAT OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Seat Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706-
- Bolt
- 1.5 Nm
- Control Module Bracket
- Clipped in the seat pan and secured using the expanding pins
- Right Front Seat Heating Element -Z46-
- Only available together with the cushion and COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - SEAT OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM => List Item:Wiring Harness
- The seat occupant detection system is bonded on the cushion
- Refer to SEAT OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Nut
- 1.5 Nm
- Seat Position Sensor
- Driver Seat Position Sensor -G553-
- Front Passenger Seat Position Sensor -G554-
- Available only with COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - SEAT OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM => List Item:Wiring Harness
- Shown on the front passenger side
- Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

- Tightening specification OVERVIEW - SEAT POSITION SENSOR => List Item:Bolt.
