Seat Depth Adjuster, Removing And Installing, A3: Removing

-- Remove the trim from the seat depth adjuster. Refer to SEAT DEPTH ADJUSTER TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If equipped, disconnect the connector -2- and free it up.

-- Remove the nuts -1-.

-- Unclip the seat depth adjuster at the tabs -arrows- and remove it upward from the seat pan.

-- Pivot the seat depth adjuster upward and disengage it at the tabs -3- from the seat pan.

-- Disengage the rear clamping strip on the cover from the seat depth adjuster.

-- Fold the seat depth adjuster toward the rear.

-- Pull the support -1- all the way out in direction of -arrows-.

-- If equipped, thread the wire through.

-- Disengage the cover contour wire -arrows- from the hooks -1-.

-- Disengage the front clamping strip -3- on the cover from the baseplate.

-- Unclip the clips -2- for the seat depth adjuster cushion -4- from the baseplate -5-.
