Outer Instrument Panel Vent, Removing And Installing, Front Passenger Side: Removing

-- Remove the instrument panel decorative trim on the front passenger side. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL DECORATIVE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, FRONT PASSENGER SIDE .
-- Remove the right display control head decorative panel. Refer to DISPLAY CONTROL HEAD DECORATIVE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the bolts -1-.
TIP:
The vent has holes on the sides for attaching the Hook Tool:T40207 .
-- Carefully guide both Hook Tool:T40207 in between the slats and push forward until they can be engaged on the side of the housing of the instrument panel vent.
-- Carefully remove the vents -2- on both sides in stages, alternating from side to side -arrows-.
