Instrument Cluster Trim, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the steering wheel as far to the rear and down as possible. Use the full steering column adjustment range for this.

-- Remove the instrument panel decorative trim on the front passenger side. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL DECORATIVE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, FRONT PASSENGER SIDE .

-- Remove the center vent. Refer to CENTER VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left display control head decorative panel. Refer to DISPLAY CONTROL HEAD DECORATIVE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the driver side outer instrument panel vent. Refer to OUTER INSTRUMENT PANEL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, DRIVER SIDE .

-- Removing the decorative trim for the driver side instrument panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL DECORATIVE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, DRIVER SIDE .

-- Remove the light switch trim. Refer to LIGHT SWITCH TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Unclip the steering column trim panel gap cover -1- by hand from the instrument cluster trim -arrows-.

-- Carefully insert the Backrest Panel Tool:3370 in between the trim and the instrument panel, then engage it to the trim.

-- Unclip the instrument cluster trim -1- using the Backrest Panel Tool:3370 from the instrument cluster -arrows- and then remove.
