Turbocharger, Removing And Installing, AUDI A3 From My 2021/Q2 From My 2016/Q3 From My 2019/TT From My 2015: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Replace seals, gaskets, O-rings and self-locking nuts after disassembly.
If installed. Check the O-ring in the Tank Ventilation Pressure Sensor 1 -G950- for damage. Refer to OVERVIEW - CRANKCASE VENTILATION .
Coat the turbocharger threaded pins with hot bolt paste. Refer to the Parts Information.
Fill the turbocharger with engine oil at the oil supply line connection.
Secure all hose connections with hose clamps that match the ones used in series production. Refer to the Parts Information.
Used coolant cannot be used again.

-- Install the locking plates. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the catalytic converter. Refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the upper coolant pipe. Refer to UPPER COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the ignition coils. Refer to IGNITION COILS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the left air duct pipe. Refer to LEFT AIR DUCT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the Oxygen Sensor 1 Before Catalytic Converter -GX10-. Refer to HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Check the oil level. Refer to ENGINE OIL .

After installing the turbocharger, let the engine idle for approximately one minute without increasing the engine speed. This ensures adequate oil supply to the turbocharger.
Used coolant cannot be used again.

-- Fill with coolant. Refer to COOLANT, FILLING USING Cooling System Charge Kit:VAS 6096 [DNNA, DNNB, DNND, DNVB] .
