Carpet, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front seats. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Equipment version: open the retainers in the direction of -arrows- and remove the cover -1-.

-- Equipment version: remove the expanding rivet -2- using the Pliers: T40172C  .

-- Push the cover -1- slightly forward in the direction of -arrow- and remove.

-- Remove the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear air duct. Refer to OVERVIEW - AIR ROUTING AND AIR DISTRIBUTION IN VEHICLE INTERIOR .

-- Remove the A-pillar lower trim panels. Refer to A-PILLAR LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the footrest. Refer to FOOTREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the buttons -arrows-.

-- Remove the B-pillar lower trim panels. Refer to B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the floor mats.

-- Remove the guide -1- with the cover -2- for the child seat anchor toward the front in the direction of -arrow- and let it hang on the bench seat.

-- Repeat the process on the rest of the child seat anchor guides.

-- Grab the bench seat -1- under the molded part -2- using both hands on one side.

-- Using both hands on one side, forcefully pull the bench seat upward in the direction of -arrow A- to release the molded part from the front mount -3-.

-- Repeat the procedure on the other side of the bench seat in the direction of -arrow B-.

-- Lift the front bench seat and pull the rear carpet forward.

-- Pull out from under the carpet located under the C-pillar trim panels.

-- Lift the carpet -1- at the rear in the direction of -A arrows- and pull it toward the rear in the direction of -B arrows-.

• Make sure the carpet does not tear at the openings.

-- Fold floor covering and remove through the door.
