Rear Luggage Compartment Floor Handle, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the luggage compartment floor.

-- Unclip the handle cover -1- on the bottom of the luggage compartment floor.

-- Do this by inserting the scraper from the Scraper Set: VAS6845 flat under the handle cover.

TIP:

If the scraper is inserted from above, it will be located under the frame. It is then not possible to pry out the cover.

-- Turn the scraper on its axis in the direction of -arrow A- until the hook disengages.

-- Disengage the remaining frame in the direction of -B arrows- and the cover for the handle.

-- Carefully release the catches -3- one after the other with a small flat-head screwdriver in the direction of -arrows-.

-- Disengage the remaining catches and remove the frame -1- for the handle.

-- Remove the handle -2- for the luggage compartment floor.
