Drive Axle, Bolted, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
-- Lightly coat the splines on the outer joint with assembly paste before installing the outer joint into the wheel hub. Refer to the Parts Information.
-- Tighten the threaded connections in the curb weight position. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT POSITION, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH COIL SPRING .
-- Vehicles without electronic damping: perform the basic setting of the Matrix LED headlamps after installing. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
-- On vehicles with electronic damping perform the basic setting of the electronic damping after installing. Refer to ELECTRONIC DAMPING BASIC SETTING .
