Height Adjustment At Striker, Sedan

• Adjustment dimensions. Refer to REAR LID, ADJUSTING .

Procedure 

-- Unclip and remove the cover -1- for the locking pin using a small flat-head screwdriver -arrows-.

-- Before adjusting, screw in the adjusting buffer completely. Refer to HEIGHT, ADJUSTING USING ADJUSTING BUFFER .

-- Loosen the bolts -1-.

-- Move the striker -2- -arrows a and b-.

• Use the markings at the body for adjustment.

-- Close the lid and check the closing position.

-- If necessary, adjust the closing position using the adjusting buffer.

-- The rear lid latch must be engaged in the main detent (second catch) at the same time.

-- Open the lid and tighten the nuts.

-- Adjust the adjusting buffer. Refer to HEIGHT, ADJUSTING USING ADJUSTING BUFFER .
